quick update

So this whole working thing is really cutting into my free time. Hence the lack of blog updates.

Things are going really great. This weekend was so wonderful. We went to the beach on Saturday. Connie, Dan and Mollie joined us and the weather was superb. Penelope loved chasing the other dogs and meeting new people. The boys had a great time climbing the rocks and finding fossils. (we were at Clayton beach) Eric trully needed the time off because his students turned in their research papers on Friday and it took 2 boxes to carry them in. I don't think we would survive if we didn't take a Sabbath rest every week.

After church we went to Connie's for homemade (by me) pizza and a rousing game of hand and foot. (a card game similar to Canasta)

Easter morning we we to Barb and Zach's for brunch and an egg hunt. The weather was horrible so we decided to hide the eggs inside. Not because the kids couldn't handle the rain but because WE didn't want to get wet. We spent the day with them and their people. No one called 911 so it was a successful holiday.

I took today off so I could catch up on the house and some scrapbooking. I'm looking forward to Friday because it is scrapbooking night. I need a night out with some friends.

I have one pray request if anyone is so inclined. Sawyer's spider Zelda disappeared 2 weeks ago but she came back. Now she is hiding under her log and won't come out. We hope she is just moulting. I don't think Sawyer can handle losing her right now.
