So blessed

I stand in awe of the mighty power of my God. I was driving my kids to the bus stop (yes, they are one of the only schools in the county open) and almost miss my exit on the freeway. The Nooksack river has no banks in Ferndale. The sight caused a physical reaction. The river has spread to the parking lot of the Scottish Lodge. There is a semi trailer that is parked in the field as an advertisement, I could only read the top half.
A couple years ago I spent a week in New Orleans doing hurricane clean up. That's all I can think of. I pray for the people in our county. Not just for safety but for their souls. I'm not an end of time freak or anything but the signs are becoming obvious.
I feel so blessed to be sitting in my warm dry house with the lights on.
