So during a long weekend camping in the rain for Memorial Day we came to the conclusion that a travel trailer would be wonderful. We have wanted one for a long time but never had the right vehicle to tow with. Our good friends Andrew and Brie have a suburban and were excited to share it and a trailer with us. (insert many details and paperwork) We found one and got a great deal. So we are now the proud co-owners of "Huck" our Jayco Kiwi trailer. It is large enough that both our families (9 total) have a bed to sleep in.
We took it out Friday night for a very last minute overnight at Birch Bay. It was so great to have a dry warm place to cook and sleep, while still being able to have a fire and listen to the birds.
We are busy planning more outings and gathering all the supplies.
